What we promise
- 📚 Every rate is sourced — see methodology for the exact authority publication per country.
- 📅 Every page shows when it was last updated — and we date by calculator, not just site-wide.
- 🔒 No tracking cookies — we use first-party analytics only (path, referrer, country) without identifiers.
- 🚫 No advertising — we earn through opt-in affiliate links to tax software, clearly marked
rel="sponsored". - 🔐 No paywalls, no email gates on calculators — the answer is the answer.

Editorial independence
We run affiliate links to tax software (Koinly, CoinLedger, etc.). Our recommendations are based on actual product testing. Affiliate status does not influence:
- Which countries we cover
- Which calculators we build
- Which rules we use (always the official authority)
- Which software we recommend in head-to-head comparisons
We mark every affiliate link with rel="sponsored". If a partner asks us to soften a critique, we say no — and you'll see the original critique stay live.
Error policy
Tax law is complex. We will make mistakes occasionally. Our commitment:

- We acknowledge within 24 hours
- We fix within 48 hours of acknowledgement
- We publish a public changelog entry crediting you (or your handle / "anonymous tipster")
What we do NOT do
